about

Elise's voice is a force to be reckoned with. After captivating audiences as a Top 24 contestant on American Idol Season 21, Elise quickly amassed a loyal following and went on to star in Netflix’s Building the Band. Now, she returns with her discography of fierce cinematic pop. And, if American Idol judge Katy Perry’s words are any indication, she is “the next big thing”.

In June 2023, Elise released her single Crown with Nashville-based songwriting collective Song House, amassing over 1 million streams on Spotify. She has continued to develop her sound with singles If You Could Be Mine and Move Boy, most recently releasing her much adored cover of Tate McRae’s You Broke Me First that she performed on Building the Band.

Elise always had an inkling she’d grow up to be a performer, taking to the stage at every opportunity. She spent formative years in Utah and Washington honing her craft through classical opera, musical theater, and recording ambitious covers of vocally demanding songs. Ask Elise why she writes songs, and she’ll tell you she’s always been obsessed with telling the honest truth. Led by the purpose of empowering and connecting audiences to the deepest parts of themselves, she knows exactly what she stands for and is not afraid to show it.Â
